Review on Grey Faux Leather Lily Dining Chair with Walnut Wood Finish by Armen Living by Rachel Cooper

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Durable, heavy and stylish. Sloppy packaging and minor damage to the chair

Pros: The chair looks and feels fantastic. The frame is solid and the pillow is comfortable. The legs are metal and the leather material feels durable and looks expensive. The wood looks great and feels durable. I'm 5ft 9in, 180lbs and the chair works well for me. When I sit on it there is a very slight but noticeable flex in my legs. I assume it's because there are no cross members to support it, but I'm not worried because the legs are metal. The chair is heavy and stays in place. The bottom of the legs have a grip to prevent slipping. I have to lift it up a bit to get the chair out to sit. Cons: The packaging wasn't great and the chair had a noticeable dent on the back of the wood but not much wear and tear, I'd happily return this. The bottoms of the legs had chipped off a little, as if they hadn't been handled with care when packing. It looked like it was packed in a hurry and/or the materials were gathered quickly. I understand why other reviewers were unhappy with their product, but I've been lucky with minimal wear and tear. If I saw this chair in a store I would ask for a discount because of its wear and tear. The chair came without instructions but was marked with stickers. Overall a great stylish sturdy mid-century chair. I'm hesitant to order again due to the slight wear on my chair and other bad reviews.

Pros
  • The Lily chair has a glamorous yet simple design, smooth and soft upholstery with a straight back
Cons
  • Large and bulky
