Easy to order, right? 4043 in a plastic tube, right? NOT CORRECT! The package came quickly enough (thanks to Revain Prime) but when I opened the box I was a little shocked. What could be wrong with such a simple order? Well, first one of the hoses snapped and broke. I could get over it. What I couldn't get past was the fact that BOTH tubes were filled with what appeared to be black soot. Remember this is a TIG filler metal. The metal must be CLEAN. Due to the shape of this crappy order, every time I want to weld aluminum I have to go through this complicated process of making acetone and wipe each rod individually before I can use it. Any towel or rag soaked in acetone that I use during this process turns pitch black. In general, I don't normally complain about minor imperfections on an order, but this is definitely NOT a minor imperfection. I will not be ordering from these sockets again.
