On June 9th I bought two Dane Elec 8GB Compact Flash memory cards for my Nikon D70 digital camera. I do each of these 2-3 times a month (so not heavy use). In mid-September I had a photo assignment and put one of the cards in the camera. They said it needs to be formatted. It was already formatted when I first used it, but I decided to play along and format it in camera. After several formatting attempts it didn't work. I tried the second card. Same result - this one wasn't formatted either. So now I have two non-working cards that took three and a half months to fix. I wrote to the seller with a request to replace the cards or return the money. I will change my rating if they pass. Otherwise, I urge you not to buy this brand.
