Review on OEMTOOLS 24507 Professional Series Ethylene Glycol Antifreeze Tester: Evaluates Freezing Point of Antifreeze and Ensures Optimal Water/Coolant Ratio by Dustin Lannan

I had high hopes when it arrived - it was a solid tool that was well built. However, there is a leak where the hose enters the body of the device, so tiny air bubbles constantly flow through the flow meter when it is full, preventing the indicator discs from forming a discernible pattern. If I manage to squeeze/push/twist the tube properly and hold it long enough for the discs to seat (which isn't easy), the pattern will still be unreliable. I opened a brand new jar of a 50/50 commercial blend and tried it - only 2 slices came out. I opened a brand new can of 100% antifreeze and only 3 discs swam. Unreliable readings, so useless. I need to find another model that I can trust to give more accurate readings.
