We received the KATUR Citronella collar a day earlier than expected and were keen to use it. I loaded it up and filled it with citronella. I actually watched it splash as my dog (stubborn coonhound) barked and barked. There are certain triggers that make them bark. 1. Proteins. 2. Dogs walk past our house with their owners. 3. Anyone backing out of our driveway. She's driving her insane and I haven't found a product that works. A shock collar, a remote control dog training collar and now a citronella collar. I set it to high spray volume, low sensitivity. Although she noticed the splashes immediately and stopped barking at first, the dog continued to bark at the other dog. Bad habits are hard to break! However, this morning I noticed her barking at the garbage truck (another trigger) and stopped immediately. This was definitely a change in her demeanor! I found this collar a bit confusing to program and operate and email to customer service. They responded the same day with instructions and a list of FAQs to rectify the situation. I change the sensitivity to high to be more responsive. I was impressed with the customer service and post-sales responsiveness. The collar appears to be of good quality and the company has been very responsive. We hope for peace and tranquility for our neighbors!
