Review on πŸ’‘ Belkin 1-Outlet Home Series SurgeCube: Reliable Portable Wall Tap Adapter for Versatile Power Protection: White, 1080 Joules by Lawrence Reuter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

According to UL database. This is the best in this price range.

I compared two similar products and finally decided on this one. Tripp Lite Portable Surge Protector / Surge Protector 1 Outlet 600W (SPIKECUBE) CyberPower CSB100W 900W Essential Wall Faucet with 1 Outlet Surge Protector This faucet is rated at 885W. It has a VPR of 400 on the UL database, which is *the best of all three (according to the data sheet). But this is just data on paper, if he works and gives his life to protect my gear I will edit this comment and give it 5 stars. (I hope I never have to do this) And don't trust a cheaper extension cord solution. I found in the UL database that many cheap extenders with SPD have high VPR and only one protection mode, which makes them almost useless (you will also see a lot of bad comments). * The NEMA website states that the SPD's energy rating (in joules) is not that useful and there is no industry standard to verify it. VPR data is better for comparing products.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • poorly thought out
