I scheduled a day for the installation because I thought it would be a hassle. Not at all! Get the Gila recommended window film installation kit, it comes with everything you need. I cleaned the window with dish soap (Dawn) and water, cut off a larger piece than needed and sprayed the window top to bottom with the soapy solution provided in the kit. I recommend using a piece of clear tape in the corner of the backing to remove the backing - it's stronger than regular tape. Patted this pup, wiggled it around a bit so it was perfectly aligned (this is where a liberal application of the soapy solution pays dividends, and then scraped off the excess with the little green tool that's included. I had an old towel on the floor to catch the drips as i squeezed the air out. ready in 15 minutes! beautiful lace curtains are now suitable for modesty and i have something else to do for the rest of the day. great!
