So I used it with my new M1 Macbook Air which only has 2 USB C ports. I have a couple of USB A devices that I wanted to use with a new laptop. The first thing I tried was the Fitbit charging cable. Went like clockwork. Then I tried to use an external LG DVD drive. It did not work. I tried this on my old laptop which has a USB-A port and the DVD player worked fine. I then tried this on an old laptop with a USB-C to USB-A converter (daisy connected) and it worked fine. So I figured it must be an issue with my Macbook Air not getting enough power from the USB C ports. So I had another OTG cable lying around that I bought to replace my Nintendo Switch dock, since it has a power input and an HDMI output. So I tried this unit with the unit powered on and the external DVD drive worked great with the Air. Then I unplugged the power from that unit and tried again. still worked. So it looks like this JSAux OTG doesn't work well with late 2020 Macbook Air M1 for some reason. Not sure if anyone else had the same problem? By the way, since two cables are included in the scope of delivery, I tried both and neither worked with the Air.
