I remember JayzTwoCents talking about this RAM on YouTube, although his video was outdated. It was around the time DDR4 was introduced and it showed how much better it is than DDR3. I bought a Corsair Vengance DDR4 when I was building my computer two years ago. This is the first time I have purchased a G.Skill product and I was not disappointed. I got this because I decided it was time to upgrade from 16GB to 32GB of RAM. I came to this solution because I noticed that when playing a certain game, the RAM usage was almost maxed out. I thought this was probably causing the problem I was noticing. While the new RAM didn't seem to completely solve the issue I was having, I did notice that my RAM usage was now just under 17GB at least once. So it seems that upgrading to 32GB wasn't a bad idea. I remember for most of my life adding even a small amount of RAM to a PC would greatly improve its performance. Even though I knew I wasn't sure if I would notice an improvement this time and I still feel insecure but that's okay, at least I know now that I'm out of 16GB per amount of RAM that my PC has been able to use at the same time. Setting up an XMP profile in my BIOS was easy and it worked. I was hesitant to give 5 stars for "easy to install" because a drive didn't install properly the first time I installed it, but I don't think it's the memory's fault, I think my motherboard and other components are to blame because they get in the way of other things. This has happened more than once because I had to delete them again to complete the product registration, which I had little trouble with. Before installing the RAM, I decided to write down the model and serial numbers. When I wanted to register the RAM in G.Skill, I was able to enter the model and serial number as I wrote them down, but I also had to provide additional details. I had to provide an invoice but that wasn't a problem as I had already downloaded it. The problem for me was that I had to photograph and upload the labels on both sticks. It's not easy for me to take clear pictures with my phone, but I managed. I think that's reasonable information to ask for, but it was still a little awkward. Having not had any major RAM issues yet, I decided to write this review after running it for about 24 hours. Watch. I'm sure it will work with no issues, but if it does I'll likely update this review to reflect that. Also, I want to pick a color. I found another RAM that I wanted to buy in a few different colors, but then I realized it was exactly what my motherboard needed, so I bought it. For some reason I thought I had the option of choosing a color other than red, but I didn't. It's a little disappointing, but it doesn't matter what color it is, what matters is performance. I don't look inside my PC very often anyway, and while it doesn't fit in my blue case, red SATA cables do.
