I love this hot glue gun! It's basically an animal. It has two heating modes: 60W and 100W. That 100 watt is very hot and will leak things out very quickly, but as with all hot stuff, you have to be careful with it. The gun works fantastic allowing the glue to come off evenly without having to wait forever. I used both settings in the same project to see how they work. The 60 watt heater lasted longer (obviously) and I felt like it had more control over the distribution and release of the adhesive. The 100 watts got things moving faster, but more glue came out, making it better suited for covering large areas than delicate assembly work. The included sticks may or may not last long depending on the size of your project. My first pistol project was quite large and I burned about 3.5 of them. They hold up really well. I'm used to working with a mini glue gun so it was a big change for me but I really like it and it does a great job of gluing things together. I would recommend it.
