Pretty good primer

I've just started my first little needle felting project, chicken, and I needed help figuring out how to make the eyes and how to add the legs. I thought this book would help me to get through the completed project. That helped, but I went through the details I was looking for. This book has a good basic guide to materials: needles, foam rubber, types of wool fibers that are best for needle felting. And an introduction to basic techniques such as rolls, flat shapes, cones, tubes. etc. There are 20 projects with detailed instructions. In this guide you will find more detailed information about some of the techniques, e.g. B. to create a hummingbird beak, which is pretty clever. I tried to learn how to make eyes. Unfortunately, this detail is missing in the book. "I can sew a button onto a shirt and tie it in the back. The felted animal has no 'back'. Some of them were extremely cute - a rabbit, a sheep, a giraffe, some not so cute in my opinion like a frog and a mermaid, but the reader gets a good basic idea of how you put an animal together, there's a goose and an elephant in the gallery at the end, which is something I'd like to try and I'll probably be able to do after learning the techniques described in this book.
