I've had them for a few months now. I was impressed with the quality of the spoon holders! After washing my hands for 3-7 months I can say they are almost like new. There are no clearly visible scratches from the cleaning sponges I used. I have used the cleaning side of sponges in vain; Spoon coasters are very easy to care for! I don't have a dishwasher and some warm/hot water and soap with the nonabrasive side of the sponge does a fantastic job cleaning these guys. Neither fat nor sauce can stain the silicone these guys are made of. At the same time, silicone is flexible (at first I thought it would be more difficult), but this makes it even more convenient to use; I can put 2-3 spoons on it at a time (beware of cross contamination :D). At the same time, in my opinion, the spoon holder is not too big and not too small. They are just the right size to fit in the center of the platter. I am happy with the purchase and would highly recommend these sturdy spoon rests which can take a long time to replace.
