Great internal upgrade

32GB RAM probably MUCH more than I'll ever need to game, but there I finally give myself a gaming rig, even if it's in the mid-range price range. Models, I wanted everything possible to be added. RAM was the last thing to tick off this list after the SSD drive and boot disks. The biggest issue with upgrading my RAM was compatibility. For my specific computer model, the new Dell G7 7590 (2019 version), there was little information. Since this RAM uses XMP profiles, not every motherboard supports this. It also didn't help that the XMP settings weren't listed in my system's BIOS (as far as I can tell), so in theory it could work, but most of the information that existed was skewed to the point that it doesn't work. So the purchase was a costly experiment. Before I continue, I'll explain why I bought this particular RAM: it's made by Kingston, the manufacturer of the standard RAM that comes with my computer (I believe Dell uses RAM from multiple manufacturers, so your RAM may be different be) and I wanted There was an upgrade for more than just performance. That CAS latency of 15 seemed good to me (an improvement over the CL19). Results: plug and play. Went like clockwork. My computer started normally and saw the increased bandwidth at the maximum bandwidth allowed by the system (2667MHz). Screenshots provided by CPU-Z for reference. (Note: I'm using BIOS version 1.6, I don't know if this works in the stock BIOS which I think is 1.3 or 1.3.1) Conclusion: Great update and this guy confirmed it works in G7 7590. There are no issues to report, but I don't expect any.
