Review on πŸ” EPAuto GP885 (CA10885) Engine Air Filter Replacement for Honda CR-V (2010-2011) - Rigid Panel Filter Guaranteed by David Sidman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy installation, high quality

Air filters are a job that you should always do yourself to save money. When they inspected my car, they charged $133 to replace the engine and cabin air filters. I almost snorted in the guy's face because I'm not very good at holding back my laughter when I hear something really funny. The replacement takes literally 5 minutes including opening the box that contained the filter and discarding the old filter. I used this on my 2010 Honda CRV and it was a very easy install. Simply loosen the screw holding the air cleaner hose clamp in place (a few turns should be enough), disconnect the hose and move it to the side, lift the 4 retaining clips and remove the upper case. Replace the filter with a new one and put this case back on. (NOTE: There is a small plastic alignment notch on the back of the case that needs to be aligned before you can get a good fit). Insert the retaining clamps one after the other, align the hose and tighten the clamp. Ready. It probably took me longer to write it than to edit it.
