Review on Centric Parts 116 35005 Brake Sensor by Geoff Yates

For the 2003 Mercedes E500 (W211) this sensor is keyed to match the front or rear passenger side sensor connectors. That's about 20% of the left pad's sensor. The front sensor on the driver's side uses the left sensor for 50% of the pad. Use Centric item no. 116.35008 for the front connector on the driver's side. I also had Centric pads and had to use a 1/8" bit to drill a sensor hole in the pad to make it slide. On the 2003 E500 this sensor is only in the front and you have to hold the tool. The brake pad wear indicator on the panel does not light up.
