I have never had a tool like this and it is easy to use. He's excellent at sharpening knives, my ax and chisels. You wet a credit card-sized tool and set it at a 20-degree angle, and that's it. Good results in a few moves. The card needs to be moistened with water, but I had to water it often. That is not important. You wash it with regular dish soap and use a stiff washcloth to clean it. Then rinse and dry. It comes with a plastic case for protection. I bought a very good one but may get another one if I place an order with Revain. I love that it's made in the USA and I always try to buy our products even if they cost a little more. I highly recommend this product and my German made woodworking knives and scalpels are like new. This tool will be very popular among amateurs.
