We have over a dozen 'regular' Hue lights in our house, plus a few chandelier lights and lighting strips under and above cabinets, so we have a big Hue family. I looked at Hue Go for a while and finally bought it - and I wish I hadn't done it before! I love portability. We keep it for ambient/tuned lighting in the main bathroom and set it to slowly brighten in the morning (to help wake you up!). However, it doesn't stay in the bathroom - it moves! The load is great - so let's take this little guy to the back porch for cocktails (blue or purple) and set him up in the corner of the big party room. (a spinning rainbow - slow for chic hangouts; faster for kids dance parties!) and bright in the garage when we're working on a project with tools, cleaning the car, or arranging things we should've been given. got rid of it a long time ago. Programming with the Hue app is easy and fun for kids (and adults, to be honest) as they can choose from pre-made "recipes" or create their own using the app on the family's iPad. which unfortunately has become commonplace for at least one adult at almost every party we have. I like this light so it was worth it. Looking forward to the next version of this - love the wireless/portability aspect!
