Bought 2 of these. Very nice stool. I saw a similar item that didn't have metal buttons around the pillow. I'm glad I chose this one. Nails really decorate the look. The box was well packed. Assembly took about 20 minutes each, but is VERY easy and the hardware is labeled and well packaged. The stools are wider than I expected. .that adds comfort. good width 17-1/2 inches. I weigh 240 pounds and they feel very comfortable, solid and rotate smoothly. When assembling, first loosely install all the screws, then go back and tighten. They are NOT the reddish hue I was hoping for but they still look great. If one suggestion had to be made to the manufacturer, it would be to make the legs 1 inch longer so the stools are 25 inches tall (I bought the 24 inch size). ). The cushion compresses about 1 inch when you sit on it, and it "feels" a little low when you're sitting at counter height. estimate an additional 1 inch in height to accommodate seat compression...that's very slight...most won't even notice, but I'm a detail geek and I notice everything...haha. I will be pleased.
