These new frames are looking pretty good. I guess I'll see how they hold up over time. This style pairs well with our state license plates, which have the year plates in the lower left and right corners so they don't obscure them (see photo of the modified plates). I was able to use some of the included screws for my front panel, but I had to find my own to match the threads for my back panels. I used a regular screwdriver instead of the one that came with it. The plastic caps look the same as the others I've used, they become quite brittle after a few years or so and can fall apart. I think over time we'll see if they suffer the same fate. All in all I don't think it's bad for the price paid for these replica tripods.
