My OG remote that came with my TV was getting slow so I ordered this as a replacement. At some point in the future they had to redesign the interior or use a different/less rubbery material. From the day I got my TV, the remote control is annoying. You had to press the button all the way down to do anything, it was always a good idea to use the QWERTY keyboard on the back. However, this new one is more nimble and requires less pressure to press the button. It also weighs less than my old remote control. Set up was easy, just pop in 2 triple A batteries (not included, just used batteries from old remotes) and it was ready to go. I also don't have to point the remote in a ridiculous way like the old remote to change channel/input/volume.
