Anyone who uses them in their car seatbelt buckle must have a) the best behaved dog in the world or b) a pocket dog (super small). It was a nightmare to use with my 82 lb German Shepherd mix. As he got up and walked around the back seat, the seat belt became so tangled around him that he couldn't move. I modified this a bit with a climbing carabiner and ratchet straps. The carabiner slides through the ratchet strap (which I snap tightly around the car headrests) and then I can attach the carabiner to the harness end of the dog's harness. Because the anchor point is much higher, it doesn't get tangled as much. That being said, I received this product a month ago and took my dog for a 15 hour car ride and four 1.5 hour car rides. It's holding up well so far, but it would never have been usable unless I changed my machine's settings.
