So I took my time installing it and immediately tried to adjust it, didn't even feel like it was doing anything, even at full stiffness. After playing at various angles for a day, I noticed that the brass bushing was slipping out of the lugs. Removed and found that the aluminum bracket is already damaged. It's just a very, very cheap product. At this point I was more concerned that it would detach from the mounts so I removed everything and threw it in the trash.
