We installed two of these on the interior doors of our house and we really like them! We didn't have to teach our cat to use them, he figured it out himself. Our cat is a 15 pound American Shorthair and he suits them well. I've noticed that the tip of his cock seems to get stuck in the valve, but that doesn't seem to hurt him or prevent him from using it. He particularly likes that the doors are transparent, as he can sit behind one of them and see what's going on before deciding to enter the room. We put one on the door from the dirty room to the kitchen and one on the door leading to the basement. We've had them for a month now. Recommend!
