I love this tofu press! I've done a lot of research (both on this site and others) on different types and sellers of tofu presses. I researched and reviewed materials, ease of use and cleaning, details (how difficult they are, environmental impact, durability...), price, product and seller ratings/reviews. This tofu press is reasonably priced, lives up to the ratings/reviews it has received (based on my experience so far) and is almost (if not completely) 100% recyclable. Bamboo itself is compostable and, together with metal, more sustainable than plastic. Also, use creative thinking to reuse/recycle all parts if for some reason they stop working. :) This press is easy to assemble and disassemble, it has no complex or tiny parts, making it easy to clean, maintain and simple to use. It was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition with minimal packaging that I can recycle wherever I live (I have no way of reusing it). I put off buying a tofu press for years because I thought I could do without it, but after a few situations with questionable results and broken dishes, I finally gave up and bought one. I'm so happy I chose this tofu press as my first (and hopefully only) one! :)
