The blaster is well made and powerful, hands down one of the best Nerf guns in its class. It's extremely powerful for a spring-loaded blaster and does the job perfectly. However, he has some problems. Especially ammunition. Nerf Hyper Ammo is a mixed bag. For one, it's smaller than Rival ammo, resulting in more ammo capacity and easier portability. On the other hand, they are very easy to lose. And while the advertised capacity is 40 rounds, the kit only comes with 30. I highly recommend getting a 50-round reload canister if you intend to use it for a real Nerf war. One more thing, the hopper feeding system. sometimes it wobbles a little. When the ball is in place, it loads with no issues. The problem lies in keeping the bullets in place all the time due to the shape of the "tube" feeding funnel the blaster uses. All in all a pretty good blaster. I'd say it's a good start for the Hyper series, but it's also on shaky ground. We'll have to see where the series goes next.
