The perfect product for any user!

After purchasing this MFP, I can say that I have generally positive emotions.
The copier upset a little, although at a distance slightly less than an outstretched hand, the points on the copied photo are not visible. By the way, printing photos or text from a laptop or phone is excellent, the only complaint is only about copying! There was no "dullness" of the paper from the toner after printing. I hope my review will help you make the right choice or set up this MFP.
Well, I was unpleasantly surprised by the rapid overheating of this MFP, I recommend it exclusively for home use, because at work you will wait more for it to cool down than print anything! :)

Pros

So, let's begin: 1. I don’t have the sound of whistling chokes (there was a negative review). 2. Scanning is performed without paper inserted. Without paper, it gives an Er1 error - you just need to insert paper and everything will pass. Errorcomdes are in the user manual downloaded from the HP website. 3. Wifi direct functions (this is a directcomnnection to the printer via wifi without a router) works great! 4. There is no HP ePrint function in it, but all problems were solved aftercomnnecting Google Cloud Print, now you can send documents to your printer at home from anywhere in the world! 5. On Wifi (via a router), everything also prints perfectly from both a laptop and a phone (all the previous points were also tested from both devices). 6. The HP website has all the necessary software, user manual and more! I thought thatcomnnecting to wifi would not be so simple, but it is enough to follow all the instructions of the program and it will work itself out. I was very surprised by the question of transferring the Wi-Finetwork settings from the laptop to the printer, thus I didn’t even have to enter the password from my router - everythingcomnnected automatically! And that's even without using WPS! 7. Noisiness is within the normal range, not much quieter than the HP LJ Pro 1102, I thought it would be better. 8. Many people had a question about how to disable cartridgecomntrol, it is disabled in the settings of the MFP (system, then mat.comnsumption parameters), there are cartridge policy and cartridge protection items. (disabled by default) 9. You can get into the deep printer settings in two ways or through the web interface (being on the same wifinetwork). I entered the address (to find out the ip address, you can print thecomnfiguration page by holding thecompy button until the power button blinks) or log in through the HP LaserJet MFP M28-M31 program (desktop shortcut) and select the Panel tab HP Device Tools, a window is launched that is identical to the setup web interface. 10. Cartridge for 500 pages refillable (video on YouTube), there are analogues for 1000 pages (2 thousand).Compact size.

Cons

Flaws: 1) copying (for example, a passport) is not bad, but leaves much to be desired, because on the scan, if you bring it closer to the eyes, you can see that the image (photo) consists of dots, at work there is an old MFP that produces photographic copies! It is not treated in the printer settings, there is only an addition of the “darkness” of the copy, changing the copy type settings (text, photo, mixed) does not give any effect. This is especially strange against the backdrop of an excellent scanner up to 600 dpi. At this resolution, the scans are excellent, but it scans for an additional sec. 20 after preview, at 200 dpi instant save directly from preview. 2) The HP smart program on the phone allows you to set only 300 dpi when scanning, although you can set 600 on a laptop. 3) OVERHEATS quickly and stops printing, printed 25 pages (and even then with short breaks) and refused to print everything, the inscription HP is on the screen, the sign of the toner, inclusion and attention blinks. Turned off after 5 minutes turned on the print went. I read about this problem in other reviews, but I did not think that it would be so sad! At my work HP Laser Jet Pro 1102 sheets 350 at a time can print and at least be something ! 4) There is no button to continue printing, if an error occurs, for example, paper is jammed, you won’t be able to continue after the error is resolved, you have to turn off the MFP and turn it on again and send everything to print again.
