Review on 🚴 Fizik Aliante R1 Saddle: The Ultimate Comfort and Performance Solution by Derek Davie

I was so happy to get this saddle at an amazing price! I rode a cheaper version of the same saddle for several months before I could afford this lighter version. But was very disappointed to find that my seatpost would not accept these oval rails once I got them. Long story short, I got the adapter and was able to mount the seat on my bike. But the problems didn't end there, alas. After my first ride I found that the abrasive material wrapped around the carbon rails had put a hole in my shorts! Needless to say I was upset after ruining an expensive pair of shorts. I thought about returning the saddle but ended up just tape wrapping that part of the rail with tape to avoid a problem in the future, which ended up working. Regarding the comfort of the Gamma version of this saddle, this version is very stiff and has minimal padding, so on long rides it's a good idea to get out of the saddle every few minutes to keep blood flowing. This is a great saddle and in the end I fixed all the issues but was disappointed that I had so many issues.
