Too bad it doesn't fit Specialized Roubaix

Unfortunately, this carbon rail saddle places very high demands on the seat post. My Specialized Roubaix doesn't fit and I can't find an adapter. To be honest, the site says it's not compatible. You need to buy another seatpost or get regular metal rails.

Best saddle for me

My new bike came with a different Fizik model and after 30-40 miles I became so uncomfortable I could barely ride. I went back to the Aliante model that I have used for many years. It works great for me, and small updates to the look make it even better. If you're not as flexible as I am, this saddle may be best for you. I particularly like the fact that there are no annoying seams.

Different from the previous model but still comfortable

Aliante saddles on all my bikes. I bought this model for my new bike and I am very satisfied. It is very similar to the old carbon version in size and shape but has a different base and padding. The padding is a bit stiffer, but the saddle base flexes more. I spend over 10 hours a week in the saddle and my butt is just as comfortable in this saddle as it was in the previous version.

Make sure your bike is suitable for 7x9 rails!

I was so happy to get this saddle at an amazing price! I rode a cheaper version of the same saddle for several months before I could afford this lighter version. But was very disappointed to find that my seatpost would not accept these oval rails once I got them. Long story short, I got the adapter and was able to mount the seat on my bike. But the problems didn't end there, alas. After my first ride I found that the abrasive material wrapped around the carbon rails had put a hole in my shorts!

Great saddle but I prefer the old style Aliante Gamma

This is a quality saddle, very light, only 175 grams. The carbon fiber guides and shell provide good flexibility and cushioning, while the matte Microtex finish ensures a good fit without much slippage. an old Aliante Gamma style that I currently ride. The Gamma is 260 grams heavier and has less flex in the body and rails, but is much more comfortable for longer rides. I felt better on the R1 and that's to be expected from a suitcase with padding. The shape was good too, not exactly the same as
