If you give something a bad rating because it is "too big/long" then you are not a true Big and Tall. Being a big guy at 13 is definitely very rare to have something too big. They are definitely big, I have a couple of Revain essentials and they seem to be 1-2 sizes too big. I usually buy shorts a size up so I just took the size I normally wear, I could probably go down this one. The waistband is not elastic, you need to use a drawstring. If you like wearing tight 1970s NBA shorts then these are not for you. These are longer with us than the NBA length of the 1990s. I'm 6'5" and these shorts fall 3" off your calf.
