Initially, I thought this collar was just what I was looking for. It looks very nice, but the hardware is very cheap. My 4 month old puppy was wearing this collar, and the ring to clip the leash onto completely opened up. The ring is not welded closed and sewn under the leather, but instead, it is a cheap split ring that easily bends open. Thankfully, he did not run off and I was able to grab the actual collar, but it could have been disastrous. Since I had the collar for two months, despite only using it 3 times, I was unable to return it. Don’t take the chance your dog will break the leash ring. Stay away from this collar.
