Great value for a leather collar. I do think it’s much more comfortable than a thick one. Haven’t had it very long, so durability remains to be seen. I would like if the loop thing to secure the excess length after putting it on was attached. Other than that, I’d buy again. Oh, Rose color is pretty and a nice change from BRIGHT pink.

The sellers of this collar need to buy a tape measure and learn to use it. I have a German Shepard size dog and needed a new collar. What do we do? We look up collars on Best Buy and find just what we want in this collar. I call in my wife for help, read the instructions a few times, pull out the cloth tape measure, call in the dog and carefully follow the instructions. Do it a couple of times to make sure then place our order. New collar arrives and other than being at least six inches to long

Initially, I thought this collar was just what I was looking for. It looks very nice, but the hardware is very cheap. My 4 month old puppy was wearing this collar, and the ring to clip the leash onto completely opened up. The ring is not welded closed and sewn under the leather, but instead, it is a cheap split ring that easily bends open. I used it on my outdoor cat because she roams the streets like a stray, but she has a home with us lol. She and my other black cat look alike from far away, so now we can instantly tell it's her. I thought she would hate it but she doesn't seem to mind it one bit. It's really soft and I wrote my address and her name on the collar with a sharpie and it's stayed. I will order two more for my other outdoor cats soon!

Nice overall. I was concerned about the color of the collar and how it would withstand rough housing and scratches as my dog is a puppy who has a puppy brother, they play crazy and rough. So far, so good! The color hasn't scratched or peeled off at all. I feel it's definitely worth the price. The reason I bought a round collar as opposed to a flat collar is because the flat collars rub on my puppies neck and cause her to lose hair - this collar has solved that! Her hair has all grown back :).

Nice collar, soft leather, uniform color (we got red). My very large tabby cat has worn this for about six months now and it’s held up well. He loves it.The only thing I’m disappointed in is the loop that secures the end of the collar near the buckle is too big and the collar end slips out. The collar end winds up in the food or water bowl if turned the right way, so I’m constantly resecuring it. I suppose I could cut it shorter, but I don’t want to ruin the stitching.

It still gave my Maltese a tad a couple tiny matting places, but overall it's better than any other collar I've tried. The collar may cause discomfort for dogs who pull on their leash.

Just the job when it keeps my Yorkshire terriers fur from matting. Light in weight and a perfect size, I now have three very beautiful puppies who just look so adorable. Thank you!

It’s not very well made, in less than 2 months, the part that holds down the end of the collar broke off. I wouldn’t recommend.

They seem to be well made. The only thing that I did not like was that the end loop for the extra length is so loose that it slides off of the collars too easily and they can get lost if you are not careful. They are nice to have as many others do not have them. The colors are true. I would say the sizes run ample. My little ones' necks measure about 9". They have very thick coats. I love these collars! The nylon collars stick to the hair on the dogs neck and the dogs are always scratching at them. These don't stick to the hair and the dogs are so much happier wearing them. I have used rolled leather collars for years. I like these the best as the area with the buckle is the same size as the collar, not a lot wider like the other ones I have had to use. I looked everywhere for this type and finally found them. Once I receive them, they were just perfect!

My dogs likes these dog collors, they are round not flat gives their necks more mobility no rubbing or irritation to fur or skin

I purchased 2 for my large breed dogs. We don’t keep our dogs chained or on a leash often. So there’s no way to test the durability under a typical large breed potential pull, but the collars are nice vibrant colors. Honestly, they don’t feel authentic leather but they look it and have so far (after about 3-4 wks use) have held up with no apparent wear or tear. I would buy again.

I really liked this collar, size was perfect, the color was great, Material was soft, but the dye rubbed off and stained my dogs neck. To be fair, I have a white dog and got a red collar. It was a bummer because the rolled style was really nice and it looked so cute on him. If you don’t have a white dog, maybe you’ll have better luck. I contacted the seller and it was a no hassle return.

I measured my dogs neck for size and this collar was still a bit too big. Had to put another hole in it. But it’s a quality collar.

I like this collar a lot but the only thing is if you have a dog with a smaller neck the end comes out of the loop and hangs easily. I bought this for my dog to grow into and the end hangs down after he moves around a little. Still hooked and will stay on as there’s multiple clasps but it gets in the way and my other dog chews on the leather.

I can't speak to durability yet, but I have a cavalon (Cavalier-Papillon mix) and her thin hair gets caught in all kinds of plastic and nylon collars and harnesses. I had to do something better for her. This is it! Just got it, but will try to update sturdiness and durability later. Just amazed it's so soft!UPDATE: The loop to hold the end after the buckle was broken & I didn’t notice. It came off immediately. Because of the fit and the first metal after the buckle, it was unnecessary anyway…

This collar is very nice! I read the reviews and ordered accordingly and it fits perfect on the last hole. It smells like leather and is soft, dark rich color. Love it, going to order another for my Grandpup!

The 16-18 in collars I ordered to began were much nicer than these. Nothing it’s fine. I had to return them as they were too big. These are ok .

I bought this collar for my four year old German Shepherd. While I often use her pinch collar on walks, this collar has nonetheless gotten a workout. I have experienced none of the shortcomings mentioned in some other reviews except that you will lose the little retaining loop unless you take measures to prevent it. I have had no problems with the hardware, stitching, durability, etc. I like the nice soft feel and the rich brown color, but I'm guessing it's not a big deal to her.
