I can't speak to durability yet, but I have a cavalon (Cavalier-Papillon mix) and her thin hair gets caught in all kinds of plastic and nylon collars and harnesses. I had to do something better for her. This is it! Just got it, but will try to update sturdiness and durability later. Just amazed it's so soft!UPDATE: The loop to hold the end after the buckle was broken & I didn’t notice. It came off immediately. Because of the fit and the first metal after the buckle, it was unnecessary anyway. It’s been 5-6 months. Very little signs of wear. The hole is only slightly stretched. Her fine hair hasn’t caught up in it once! The color hasn’t faded. It’s not even dirty! (Wish I could say the same about the dog. 😬 ) Love it!
