Works great, just like the original. I've found it useful to have an extra set of filters for my Dyson vacuums, both upright and handheld, as the filters take some time to dry after cleaning. With an extra one for each block, I can just pop in a clean one when I remove the dirty one, and then I can immediately reuse the block when needed. I wash the dirty and set it aside to dry. It may take a few days, but it's not a problem if I have a spare to use right away. When the washed one is dry, I put it away for the next filter change. I really like my new stick vacuum that uses this type of filter, so I bought an extra one right after I bought the vacuum. It fits perfectly and does its job well.
