Not long - Power cord

Sound on my TV My Samsung during Cable Viewer stopped working every few days. I replaced all cables except for the power cord. Bought this cable and it worked great for a month. Yesterday the sound disappeared and I couldn't return it, usually turn it off and on again, it works - not this time. Switched it back to the standard cable and it worked again.
