Do not trust this brand

I bought this item for my boat trailer at the end of October 2016. Now, at the end of spring 2017, the thing is already packed. We went to the lake at 5am and this thing suddenly decided not to work. Try as I might, none of my truck keys that worked properly would turn the cylinder. I had already removed the pin that was once attached to the trailer with a wire, so I had to frantically search the garage for a replacement. I went to the BOLT website this morning and saw that they have a "Limited Lifetime Warranty". I called her and spoke to a very disinterested lady. I was told to return the product to the store where I bought it. When I told her I bought it from Revain she went from disinterested to icy and told me to give it back to them. And she couldn't answer the phone fast enough. Ooookay, so I called Revain.no. I checked the box and they called me. All is well. Spoke to a nice lady, explained my situation. She asked me if I wanted a replacement and I told her I didn't want to use this brand anymore so she refunded me. 5 stars for customer service from Revain. If this thing failed while I was hitching up my truck, I would have to do some serious work on the way home late at night. The locking toggle switches can fail at the lock, but her body will be difficult to break. I also don't plan on using the BOLT receiver bolt anymore. It can be thrown in the garbage together with the connecting pin. I didn't ask for any compensation for that. If you can't trust your gear, there's no point in keeping it handy.
