Review on πŸ”Œ TESSAN Compact Electric Extension Mount by David Dortch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for a charging station away from walls/sockets

Our sofa is not next to the wall due to the apartment configuration, but we need a large charging station next to it because we like to work on our laptops/iPads next to the couch , and sometimes we need to charge our phones or switches etc. I didn't want to plug an extension cord into an extension cord as it could start a fire and all, so it plugs straight into an outlet in the wall and reaches where we want it, next to the sofa. We put it under our rug, which isn't very thick, so we still sometimes feel the cord when we step on it, but that's to be expected and we don't care because we're putting it under something we're not stepping on to step. large distance between sockets is large, charging boxes in general are now so large that sockets on traditional power strips are wasted. Surge protection is good too considering we charge all our expensive electronics here.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • No power
