The design requires a little more thought. Each door has airtight insulation on the door frame. Therefore, the hanger needs to be paper thin at the top to fit between the door and frame and keep cold air out. This hanger is too thick which will not allow the door to close without slamming, damaging the door frame and insulation. I spent over an hour trying to change. I tried flattening the hanger in a vise, I tried using a hammer and the vise didn't help. Now it looks like crap. I had to buy black spray paint to hide the peeling paint. So if you have an old barn door to hang it on I think it will do?
