A good product. Fair price.

Received this a few weeks ago and immediately hooked it up to my laptop with dual headless displays, a phone charger and a wireless keyboard/mouse receiver. Actually the keyboard was not compatible with the laptop but everything else worked for 8 hours. since a day and works great. It gets a little warmer than I expected, but not enough to damage anything, and the aluminum case acts as a good heatsink. I'd rather have the case dissipate heat than trap heat inside and cause other problems. It had a scratch mark which I could see upon inspection but other than that I couldn't find any faults despite trying. I have it on the left side of my MacBook Pro and I've had no issues with it being too thick or the laptop sitting oddly on the table. This may not be the case on the right side of the laptop. The build seems solid enough, but I'd recommend unplugging it from your computer before riding, just in case. If it hasn't been corrupted, chances are your computer could. Haven't used it to charge my laptop yet. My outlet is to the right of the computer. But I'll do it sometime (this weekend) when I'm visiting family and if it causes overheating I'll update this review. The same applies if I later discover other problems. So no news is good news. Overall this is a good product at a reasonable price and I can get a second one for the other side of my laptop if needed.
