I send back, I do not close the packages every time. If there is moisture or something else where the seal is, the plastic will not melt. Clean and dry bags work well, anything else doesn't. The suction is good, but the fact that it doesn't seal anything other than untouched bags doesn't sit well with me. I have an old cheap Rival vacuum sealer that seals these bags well. After being used side by side, this one had to be sent back.
