When I used the Freebuds 3 in the past, I found them to be extremely comfy and barely noticeable in my ears. In this case, the situation is even more favorable; they fit snugly in the ear, their size has been reduced, and they are capable of simultaneously connecting to two devices. The bass in the freebuds 3, particularly its quality and flexibility, made an impression on me. On the Freebuds Pro, I get the impression that there is an absence of low frequencies; I would like there to be more depth, and I hope that they will remedy this issue programmatically in the firmware updates. The noise reduction modes can be implemented more readily in the firmware, and there is automatic switching between them based on the noise level of the environment, in addition to a mode that allows for transparency. It was difficult to listen to the Freebuds 3 in the subway, particularly in older cars. The pros have excellent passive noise isolation due to ear cushions, and there is simply no noise from the subway, so everything is perfectly audible even when the volume is turned down. It is important that you keep in mind that when you are talking on the phone, the other person will hear you differently depending on the noise reduction or transparency mode that you choose to use. Superb headphones.
