Review on Stainless Steel Drawing Measuring Tool - VINCA SSRN 12 by Will Murphy

I bought this so I wouldn't have to go back and forth to get a 2 foot metal ruler for my editing table. I wanted something beautiful but affordable and it needed a cork lid to protect the photos I use it on. It's well made and feels solid, but I've just used it for the first time and noticed (after cutting) that the zero mark does NOT start at the front of the ruler! I understand that some of these companies do this so the measurements aren't inaccurate due to leading edge markings or bends, but I need something that starts at the very edge for measurement, not 1/8 inch. Nice that this is in the description as it is not obvious in the pictures! He understands that it was my fault for not paying attention, but it really should be pointed out! Now find the one that really starts at the edge!
