I used the Kenu Airframe phone holder which attaches to one of the 2019 TLX air vents. The design of the TLX 2021 is now such that if you want to use something to attach it to the air vent, it has to stick out far enough to reveal part of the dashboard. The Diaclara phone holder is adjustable enough to accommodate the angle of the air vent and protrudes far enough to reveal the dashboard. The phone partially covers the steering wheel (doesn't interfere with the steering wheel) but this is the best phone mount for the TLX that I've researched. I don't think the top of the dash is flat enough for either of the suction cup mounts to work and anything sticking to the windshield would be too far away.
