I am very impressed with the quality of this lock. It's durable stainless steel. It uses a cylindrical key that offers good security but not the highest. But based on where it is I think it would be difficult for someone to open it. It's very easy to use. Once you've decided how many O-rings you need to make up for the extra length, put them in and seat the lock. You don't need a key to lock it, just slide the lock cylinder onto the shaft. Someone wrote that it took them 3 hands to block it, don't know how they messed it up so much, very easy without blocking an extra hand. If I had to criticize anything, it's that it's really long and much longer than most applications take. But I'm very happy with it. This is a quality product!
