They are significantly different from the originals, not as dark and definitely not as heavy. While the lightness makes them feel a little 'cheaper', they make the sunglasses a little lighter, making them more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I bought these because the original lenses were cracked and I'm happy with the replacement.
