Review on Stay Active With BERTER Knee Brace - Compression Sleeve For Men And Women, Perfect For Running, Hiking, And Sports Activities by Joe Lantz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I use it for Jiu Jitsu and its Awesome!

So I suffered an MCL sprain during training and was unable to train let alone walk properly without pain for a few weeks. I had a brace on I had bought at CVS and it definitely helped as compared to having no brace on but it was bulky, the straps that would wrap around the back of the leg were uncomfortable and would bunch up, and when I did return to just drill moves, it fell apart very easily. And this brace was supposed to be the best one CVS offered!Luckily I found this sleeve with straps and for less than half the price of the CVS brace it works significantly better. The compression and support it offers is phenomenal, slipping it on in place of the other one I could immediately walk normal without pain whereas before I was still slightly limping, especially going up stairs. Its also much thinner and the straps are great for keeping it on tight and adjusting where the compression is focused as compared to other sleeves I've seen on ebay that don't have straps. Best of all I can train jiu jitsu and boxing with it and it never bunches up, slips off, or falls apart. If it can withstand combat sports without doing any of these things then I am positive it will do so without fail in other activities. For the price I highly recommend!

Pros
  • Easy to wear and comfortable, with a snug fit that stays in place during rigorous exercise.
Cons
  • The knee brace may not be effective for people who have chronic knee pain
