This thing does a great job of keeping the neighborhood dogs barking incessantly. We live on someone else's lot with neighbor dogs 3 yards in the back yard and 3 across the street. I don't keep it all the time. I use it when dogs bark unprovoked and the owners do nothing about it. I like that it beeps in test mode so I know if they can hear it. The switch isn't where it should be anymore so it's anyone's guess what you're getting, but the beep helps me figure out how it works. When I turn it on, the dogs stop barking within minutes. My big complaint is that it beeps at any loud noise, not just barks. Also, the switch is faulty. Other than that, I love this business. I just signal them from a window or door and the problem is solved. I would buy again but a bit cheap for the asking price.
