This device uses 9 volt batteries. I bought two new ones. I was amazed that on the tenth day the battery was dead. I figured it might be defective and switched to a 2nd new battery. It also lasted less than two weeks. At the price of 9 volt batteries, this device costs three times more than buying batteries for a year. I would definitely not recommend this.

This product works. I have 2 dogs that barked non-stop every time the neighbors dogs went outside then they all barked. It was so annoying. I couldn't believe how well it worked, all is quiet now. We had heavy showers and it got wet and stopped working. But I took the battery out and let it dry and it worked fine. Love it!

This device has brought peace to my home! It actually worked once 4 beagles came onto the patio which is on the next street. I placed it high up in front of my house because of a small forest to make it work. I leave it on all the time because as soon as these dogs get kicked out they try to get back inside.
