Received this about a week ago for use in our living room. We live in Arizona, where it's still quite warm in the fall. But I like its compact size and it's pretty quiet. The fan has three speed settings and a button you can press to make it vibrate. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you have the fan on it turns itself off, the fan keeps oscillating until you turn that knob. out. Most fans only oscillate when the fan is on. Otherwise we praise the price and the performance. There is space here for an asterisk for the remote control. If it was going to come with one, we didn't get it, but I agree.
