TeakHaus boards are AMAZING. I had my last one for almost 8 years and only had to replace it because I dropped it on a hard floor and it broke in half. So sad. This board, like all boards, needs maintenance. You will need mineral oil and floorboard wax. I also recommend washing and waxing the board well before use. It will be a bit dirty on arrival but that is to be expected. I recommend Old Factory Soap Company's All Natural Cutting Board Seasoning Stick as a wax solution. This board is even more beautiful than my previous one and after a good wax it really shined. If you enjoy cooking and spend a few hours at the blackboard each week, don't skimp. Take the TeakHaus board and take the big one.
