I have two kittens with very different coats and they are great for both coat types. One guy has long, very thin hair and his brother has short, coarse hair. Waldorf with his long hair loves to be combed. He just sits there in fascination while I comb his problem areas (tail mainly). Statler, his brother, doesn't really like being combed, but the brush is small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, so I just pretend to pet him. As long as the last thing he feels on his fur is my fingers, he'll let me brush him as often as I want.
